Humane Society University offers many workshops on diverse topics ranging from animal sheltering basics and leadership development to compassion fatigue, First Strike, trap-neuter-return, and humane education to combating illegal animal fighting, solving conflicts with wildlife, and humane euthanasia-by-injection. Our goal is to support you with the very latest in training and skills enhancement whether you are in the advocacy or animal care and control community.

Throughout the year, The HSUS's Regional Offices coordinate with HSU on workshops on a variety of topics. Such events are structured to meet the specific needs of the communities where they are held, and may enable participants to more readily fulfill requirements in states that mandate training for animal care and control employees.
Every year, Humane Society University presents the HSU Management Track at Animal Care Expo — workshops especially designed to build your leadership skills. Mark your calendars — Expo 2008 will be held in Orlando, Florida, May 14 - 17, 2008.
Our online learning site HSUonline.org is the industry's first noncredit online course catalog. Courses are either:
- self-paced — short courses let you log on whenever you want
- instructor-led — interact with other students through 4-8 week courses led by a subject-matter expert
HSUonline meets the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. ANGEL, HSU's learning platform, is accessible to users with disabilities. Visit ANGEL Learning's website for more information.
